Arusha, Ngorongoro and Manyara Tour Overview

This tour offers the chance to see the wildebeest crossing the Mara River, a thrilling and dramatic spectacle as the animals swim across the river while being pursued by crocodiles. The migration tour also includes the opportunity to see the predators such as lions, leopards, and hyenas that follow the herds, and the large numbers of birds that are attracted to the migration.

During this period, the herds are spread out across the vast plains of the Serengeti and the Mara River area. This is a great time for visitors to see the herds from a distance and to explore the vastness of the Serengeti. The tour can be done by vehicle or hot air balloon.

Day 1

Day 2

Drive to Lake Manyara National Park

Breakfast, Drive to Lake Manyara National Park for game drives. This is one of Tanzania’s smaller parks but still offers a rewarding and diverse safari experience. The lakeshore at Manyara teems with birdlife, and while you are looking for the birds, you might spot one of the elusive tree-climbing lions. Drive to Central Serengeti National Park

Drive to Central Serengeti with game viewing enroute.

Day 4

Full-Day Game drive in Northern Serengeti National Park

Depart for full-day game drive around North Serengeti,

Follow the wildebeest migration route at Mara River, to witness the crossing

Game drive along Mara River, and have the opportunity to spot a wide range of wildlife, including impalas, crocodiles, hippos, and the Big Five (lion, leopard, and many more)

Day 5

Full-Day Game Drive Exploring Northern Serengeti National Park

Drive to Central Serengeti for a full day exploring this park.

Serengeti is famous for is residents’ animals including the big pride of lions.

Our guides will choose the best spotting locations for the time of year; we can spend time at the Hippo pool watching these majestic animals laze about in the cool water happily living alongside the crocodiles. Dinner and overnight

Day 6

Game Drive and Drive to Ngorongoro CAA

We start the day with an early morning game drive before heading to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On arrival descend into the crater. The crater walls provide a natural sanctuary for the animals, which means there is plenty to see: lions, elephants, buffalo, rhino and leopard (if you are lucky).

Enjoy your picnic lunch by the hippo pool. Late afternoon you will ascend the crater walls and drive for overnight stay

Day 7

Hardzabe Cultural Tourism and Drive Back to Arusha

This morning you will drive to the dwelling of the famous Hadzabe tribe in the Bush for Cultural Interaction

The Hadzabe live in caves and they don’t wear any kind of clothes but rather skin to cover the private parts.

Join the Hadzabe tribe and go for a forage and during the course of the day eat while foraging and also bring back some honey, fruits, or wild game when available.

After lunch, you will drive back to Arusha and onwards to the airport in good time for your flight
